Lineman/woman

Lineman/woman construct, maintain and repair overhead and underground electrical power transmission and distribution systems.

This position is responsible to: 

• Install and maintain overhead and underground power lines and cables
• Install and maintain poles 
• Repair transformers 
• Includes working closely with high voltage equipment 
• Climb ladders or operate hydraulic buckets when working on poles or working in confined spaces such as trenches when installing power lines and other equipment 

Qualifications: 

• Experience and/or certifications as a Power Lineman/woman 
• Open to Lineman/woman apprenticeships
