Customer Service / Account Representative Smiths Falls

DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE
If you are a customer-focused, tech-savvy individual who enjoys working in a gym
environment, this position could be yours! The Customer Service / Account
Representative is responsible for maintaining the overall accuracy of our customer
accounts, responding to customer inquiries and offering solutions to drive company
revenue: other customer service and administrative tasks as needed.
MAIN DUTIES
Account Representative
● Complete all administrative paperwork and tasks accurately and promptly.
● Follow-up calls to members and clients for late payments, expired credit cards,
balance Owings, etc.
● Maintain spreadsheets of all account maintenance activities
● Prioritize assigned duties
● Create and post job descriptions to online job postings and manage applications
that come in.
● Organize files (contracts & forms) in google drive to be accessible.
Customer Service
● Provide exceptional customer service by greeting every member and prospect,
greeting them by their names
● Proactively manage and resolve all member concerns and complaints, escalate
serious concerns and complaints to the manager for resolution.
● Maintain up-to-date knowledge of gym and fitness programs, products, and
services and promote t them to prospective customers.
● Lookup class and trainer schedules, register and sign Clients in for fitness
classes and Personal Training consultations, check clients into t the Gym and
have clients complete all necessary paperwork.
● Review and reply daily to emails and messages from customers.
● All other customer service duties and responsibilities as needed.
 

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position, required to work approximately 30hr/week beginning with the following
schedule; Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8 am - 4 pm, with the possibility of
turning into full-time hours. This position is not a remote opportunity.
 

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
● High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
● A related degree or diploma is an asset but not required.
● Intermediate computer skills
● Proficiency with Mindbody Online system is an asset but not required
● Strong customer service skills
● Excellent problem-solving skills
● Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
