Beth Donovan Hospice is seeking a summer student for an eight-week period starting June 28, 2021.  

The Summer Student will assist with hospice programs and services including equipment-lending and clinical programs. Assisting with these will require client-interaction, communication, data-entry, program set-up and clean-up, and other duties as assigned. The student will participate in group calls, webinars and learning events as scheduled. This role may require outdoor work like gardening and will require strict adherence to, and adaptation to public health Covid-19 guidelines including screening, physical distancing measures, PPE usage, and meticulous cleaning and disinfection.  

If you are an energetic, compassionate, self-starter who has an interest in, or has a passion for working in a hospice palliative care setting, this summer student position may be for you.

Please note, this position is funded through the Canada Summer Jobs Program and all applicants must meet the eligibility criteria of this program: 

  • must be a student returning to school in the upcoming year

  • must be 16 years of age or older
