Labourer

Located just outside of Prescott (Algonquin), Hands Auction is a 3rd Generation, Family-run Auction House.

With a generational background in live auctions, 10 years ago Hands Auction branched out to online auctions.  Being the first Auction House in Eastern Ontario to take this leap, we firmly established ourselves as a leader in the field.  Our Auctions bring in merchandise and buyers from not only Eastern Ontario, but all over Canada and the World. We specialize in Estate Services, Downsizing, Real Estate, Jewellery, Farm, and Liquidations.

We are looking to hire TWO dedicated Labourers to join our team who also prioritize honesty, hard-work, and great service. 

Our ideal candidate: 

• Be physically fit 
• Have experience in packing, loading/unloading, lifting and moving smaller and larger items 
• Basic data entry skills/experience would be considered an asset
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation 
• Be available and flexible during week days for on-call work

Position Details: 

• Position operates on an on-call basis, with approximately 16-20 hours to be expected weekly
• Hours are ideally worked Mon-Fri, but could be required to work on a Saturday
• Transportation required to travel to various auction sites to load/unload items, however business is located in Algonquin, ON
