The ideal candidate for this position has experience in preparing large volume meals and has compassion for the elderly.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to;
Must be able to read, write and follow a 4 week rotation menu, have strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures, able to work part of the team or independently in a busy kitchen atmosphere. Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently. Have the physical endurance to stand for an entire shift and be able to bend and lift up to 25lbs or more.
The ability to work early morning's, nights and weekends. Previous experience as a cook or relevant work experience. High school degree or the equivalent.
Must have a current Food Handler's Certification, provide a negative COVID-19 test result and a Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
