Licensed Mechanic

The Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley is seeking a Permanent/Fulltime Licensed Mechanic.

The responsibilities of the position will include the repair and maintenance of gas and diesel vehicles and equipment, developing maintenance plans and processes, assisting with budgeting and fleet replacement plans.

Experience:

• Having a class DZ license would be considered an asset.
• Preferred candidates will have experience in a municipal or similar work environment
• A mechanics license valid for both motor vehicle and truck/coach, diesel endorsement preferred.

The compensation for the position is $28.27 to $33.90 per hour (currently under review) based on the experience of the successful candidate. The Township offers a comprehensive benefit package and participates in the OMERS pension program.
