Labourer

Great opportunity in Winchester, Ontario for candidates with experience manipulating steel (Cutting, grinding, etc). Aiding our millwrights you'll be assembling grain handling equipment, cutting & preparing steel for welders as well as other general labor duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned

• Operate grinders and gas saws to cut and fashion steel
• Bolt together assemblies
• Assist millwrights
• Prime and paint shop fabrications
• Ability to work with a variety of hand/power tools including wrenches, hammers, drills, grinders.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have previous experience with steel
• Must be able to work in a safe & efficient manner according to safety policies.
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds and perform strenuous outdoor work.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to read and write in both English and French would be an asset.
