Our Johnstown Site is currently operating 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and must have a Gate Attendant at all times. We are in the process of expanding our Gate Personnel and are looking to hire an Attendant to add to the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

An Attendant is responsible for:

  • Supervising site entrance.
  • Screening and verifying all visitors entering the facility.
  • Recording persons on-site, including arrival and departure times as needed.
  • Notifying Operations Department or Office Personnel upon arrival of contractors, carriers, deliveries, or visitors.
  • Providing directions within site for visitors as needed.
  • Checking in with other CREWS Personnel working on-site as needed.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The following are a list of qualifications that must be met for this position:

  • Must have High School Diploma, or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
  • Must pass Pre-Employment Screening prior to beginning training.
  • Must pass a Criminal Record Check prior to beginning training.
  • Must have good oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must have basic computer literacy.
  • Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, overtime and holidays as needed.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:

The following are a list of qualifications that are preferred for this position:

  • Security Guard License
  • Previous security experience
  • Current and valid Standard First Aid & CPR C + AED training.
  • Post-secondary education

HOURS & OVERTIME:

Gate Attendant shifts are 12 hours in length and are currently scheduled from 6:00ET to 18:00ET and 18:00ET to 6:00ET. This schedule is subject to change. Overtime may be required and is paid out after 44 hours in a work week.

SALARY & BENEFITS:

Hourly wage is $18.00/hr. For this position, employees are required to sign an Averaging Agreement in order to work the required schedule. Upon completion of the three-month probationary period, full-time employees are entitled to benefits and the option to participate in a pension program.
