Job Summary

Tallman Truck Centre is looking for an Outside Automotive Parts Sales professional to join our team to provide sales support to our Kemptville, Ontario location.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, the Outside Parts Sales professional is required to call on customers to promote the company with the goal of increasing parts sales.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working with the Parts Manager and General Manager to determine the customer base.
• Calling on new and existing customers to determine and review their parts needs.
• Making deliveries to customers as required.
• Following up on customer inquiries and concerns.
• Completing call reports for each customer visit.
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Complying with all relevant Health and Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Expected to have a positive attitude and promote a healthy work environment.
• A strong focus on continuously improving parts sales.
• Other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Sales experience required.
• College Diploma is preferred in a business discipline.
• Knowledge of trailers - example: Trout River, Fontaine, and Cobra is an asset
• Knowledge of other OEMs (Mack, Freightliner, Isuzu, and Volvo etc.) is an asset.
• After Market / Wholesale experience in sales field is an asset.
• Competency in the following areas would be an asset: customer service, computer literate, and marketing.
• Excellent customer service skill and enjoys working with the public.
• Highly motivated individual and energetic self starter.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Criminal background check.
• Driver's Abstract.
• This position may require weekend hours.
