Full-time Cook

We are looking for a full time cook to make snacks and lunch everyday for children ages 12 months-13 years old in a large daycare setting. Knowledge of Canada's Food Guide is a must as well as Safe Food Handling Certificate. 2 years experience preferred. Other requirements for the job are:

• Vulnerable Sector Check
• Standard First Aid with CPR Level C
• Workers Health and Safety Training
• Valid Drivers License and own vehicle
• Ability to menu plan
• Grocery shopping

Our goal at Madison Montessori Academy is to provide a relaxed, supportive and cooperative learning environment for all children. We assist the children in developing their social skills, thus cultivating friends and promoting a strong sense of community.

We buy all of our fresh produce and groceries locally. Our meals are prepared on the day they are to be served. Madison Montessori Academy follows the nutritional guidelines established by Canada’s Food Guide
