The ideal candidate will have PSW or equivalent qualifications with a sound understanding and practical experience providing same-sex care to individuals with Alzheimer's Disorder or Autism Spectrum Disorder. Personal support and housekeeping (including making meals, cleaning , grocery shopping, etc) , are shared with other staff working in the home.
A valid, current police check, and CPR training are required. Will need to own her own vehicle and have suitable insurance to transport clients if the need arises.
Hours worked will be up to 40 hours a week in up to 10 hour shifts, which could include weekends. Salary will be $15 -$20 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications).
Location is about a ten minute drive west of Kemptville off HWY 43 in a bungalow situated in a relatively new subdivision in a park-like setting, backing on to a large forested area.
