Position Summary Under the direction of the By-law Enforcement Officer the By-law Enforcement Assistant is responsible for responding to complaints, identifying by-law infractions, corresponding with respondents including posting notices and orders, tracking open cases and providing general assistance in the enforcement of municipal by-laws. He/she will assist with the investigation and resolution of complaints with respect to the enforcement of municipal by laws while adhering to acts/regulations of the municipality. It is proposed that efforts be made to fill this position through a paid placement of an individual pursing education in policing.
