Kitchen Manager

Mainstreet Family Restaurant is looking for a full-time year round Kitchen Manager. Mainstreet Family Restaurant is located in Merrickville ON.

Duties of this job will include:

• Working independently and as a team to create a great guest experience
• Developing menus
• Sourcing and ordering inventory
• Training and supervising of kitchen staff
• Creating schedules for kitchen staff
• Assisting with line and prep cooking
• Responding to guest questions and concerns

Requirements:

• Be energetic, reliable and dependable
• Culinary and kitchen management experience
• Ability to work in a busy environment and under demanding time pressures
• Excellent leadership and customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work a variety of shifts
