About Our Company: 
Our company specializes in various web based business management systems, as well as, smart phone apps specifically designed for First Responders.

Summary: 
The Web Application / Mobile Developer will be responsible for supporting the existing infrastructure, as well as, develop new technologies.

The ideal candidate must display excellent written and oral skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organization abilities. A candidate for this position must be able to work in a varied, fast paced environment. Flexibility and tolerance is a necessity. Candidate must have an understanding of various development languages, and be able to adapt on the fly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.

• Develop new web applications as identified by management.
• Maintain and enhance existing web applications.
• Perform complete testing of web applications, engaging users as necessary.
• Conduct all user acceptances testing, and report results.
• Develop database-driven web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing.
• Provide phone technical support as needed.
• Candidate must be a team player and willing to teach and to learn.

The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills:

• Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
• Experience with hardware and software issues.
• Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers.
• Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Typing proficiency: 40-60 wpm.
• Ability to adapt to our standards and preferred software.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 Education and/or Experience:

• Must possess skills in a variety of programming languages
• Must possess skills in SQL query building and database creation and management.
• Experience in structured environment with increasing levels of responsibility and complexity.
• Responsive GUI experience

Bonus Points

• Previous experience technical support is a plus.
• The ability to communicate and teach non-technical users a must.
• Skills with Linux command line / SSH
• Mobile platform development experience ( IOS / Android )
• Full stack developer
• Experience with GIT
• Experience with any of the following - Cold Fusion, JavaScript, JQuery, Java, HTML, CSS, JSON, Node.js, PhoneGap, C#, .Net
