Farm worker

Semex is looking for a Farm Worker, willing to work weeekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare the total ration and distribute feed
• Unload hay and bedding and move them to appropriate locations
• Wash, disinfect and ensure basic maintenance of the stalls in the barn, as well as maintenance of farm machinery and equipment
• Inform superiors of any anomalies, injuries or other observations
• Participate in the heat monitoring program according to the policies in place
• Act as support for activities requiring the presence of a veterinarian or an animal health technician
• Perform hoof trimming, shaving, brushing, washing and all other basic care
• Move the animals as required and apply ear tags
• Maintain the land adjacent to the barns
