Indoor Janitor/Clubhouse Maintenance

Manderley on the Green Golf Course, located at 5920 Prince of Wales Drive, North Gower ON, K0A 2T0 is looking for a Indoor Janitor/Clubhouse Maintenance worker.

This is a seasonal position and offers Full-time hours from April until October.

Job Requirements:

• Possess timely work habits
• Provide other employees with assistance in the kitchen as needed
• Follow all sanitary and health-related protocols
• Carry/lift loads up to 20 lbs
• Able to work both indoors and outdoors, and on your feet for 8-hour shift
• Work well independently and stay task oriented
•  Ability to evaluate maintenance issues and make recommendations to their managers

Responsibilities:

• Keep all areas of the facility, obstacle free and operable for maximum efficiency
• Ensure that the facility is in compliance with all Fire Safety requirements (check/date fire extinguishers, emergency exit lights etc.)
• Regular and daily maintenance of grounds to provide an aesthetic and attractive environment for staff and patrons.
• Perform minor repairs as required; fixing broken chairs, tables, stained carpets etc.
• Keep entrances, walkways, patios, steps, and parking access free of debris and obstructions
• Assist's staff members with the lifting of heavy items (moving of chairs and tables in banquet rooms etc.)
• Ensure that the facility (s) have the necessary supplies on a daily basis (washroom requirements etc.)
• Transport and move furniture and materials as requested also assembling equipment when necessary
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and maintenance equipment are properly stored
• Attend and participate in all required staff meetings and in-service trainings
• Implement positive communication and problem solving skills
• Regularly evaluate the needs of the facility(s), providing proactive site repairs to avoid larger issues for staff and self
• Maintains excellent work habits (attendance, punctuality, time management, and team management, etc.)
• Maintain stock list of cleaning products and report stock to managers weekly
• Other duties as assigned by on duty managers
