Specializing in upscale dining and wedding catering, The New Rideau Restaurant is looking for Full-time Servers with experience in Casual Fine Dining to join our team. As a server, you will be responsible for providing guests with a unique experience from start to finish. Candidates must be able to provide memorable service in fast-paced, restaurant; work well with others and see the bigger picture of what is necessary for the success of the service/restaurant.
Expectations of a potential candidate:
- Be knowledgeable about food, wine and beer;
- Be guest-oriented, warm sincere, mature, personable, fun;
- Have good attentive to detail;
- Be able to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
- problem-solve quickly using sound judgement
Candidates must:
- have at least 2 years service experience in fine dining;
- have sound knowledge of food and beverage pairing;
- be Smart Serve certified
- must be able to work evenings and weekends
Base Salary: $13.00 /hour
