CPHC is currently seeking a Community Support Services Manager.  Reporting to the Executive Director, the Community Support Services Manager is responsible for managing the community support services by continuous evaluation of programs while ensuring the needs of the clients are met.  The Community Support Services Manager provides oversight, supervision, and constructive direction to assigned staff and acts as a professional role model while representing the Support Services departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing, overseeing, and evaluating community support programs and adult day programs both on and off site to ensure they meet the needs of clients and the community.
  • Liaise with community groups for service delivery.
  • Participates in the development of operational plans and goals for the support services consistent with the facility / organization’s mission and strategic plan.
  • Seeks regular opportunities to promote programs within the community and participate in relevant networking and community development events.
  • Responsible for onboarding, scheduling, managing and evaluating Community Support Services Staff and volunteers.
  • Develop and implement new and expanding community support programs.
  • Work closely with the Executive Director and Financial manager to ensure the financial management of all the community support services and adult day program.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

  • Degree or Diploma in health or social services with an emphasis on Gerontology preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years experience working in a community-based service organization with 3 years experience in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in quality and client safety management.
  • Demonstrated ability in financial management, program planning, development and evaluation.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and facilitating staff training.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s licence and vehicle insurance is required.
  • Experience with labour relations is considered an asset.
