Tax Preparer

Job Title:  Tax Preparer
Type of Employment: Temporary, Full-time (March 4, 2019 – April 30, 2019)

WGP Professional Corporation is seeking two Tax Preparers in our Kemptville office.  WGP Professional Corporation is a local accounting firm that provides a wide variety of accounting services to small and medium sized businesses, as well as individuals. Responsibilities include:

• ·         Prepare and input personal (T1) income tax returns.
• ·         Summarize and organize tax slips and related documents.
• ·         Organize and prioritize work, to be completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• ·         Perform all duties using software applications, including Profile and Microsoft Office Suite.

 Requirements:

• ·         Experienced using computers and software applications.
• ·         Enjoys working as part of a team and individually.
• ·         Strong problem solving skills and high attention to detail.
• ·         Ability to manage time and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• ·         Fluent in English, both verbal and written, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• ·         Knowledge of Canadian tax laws is an asset.
